Hi, I’m Barbra. I’m a writer, storyteller, history lover, genealogy nut, and entrepreneur with a passion for legacy, memories, and honoring the past.

What I’m most proud of is my family. I’ve been married to my husband Anthony for 22 years, and together we have a son in college and a daughter who just graduated high school. We live out in the country near Waco Texas, with a Bichon Frise that loves everyone and a cat who thinks we work for him (and is bigger than the dog!).

My parents are our next-door neighbors, my sister and brother-in-law live just up the road, and every Sunday after church we all have breakfast together. We also have a big extended family spread across Texas and across the country.

I’ve loved writing since I was six years old. Growing up I filled notebook paper with stories every chance I got. As an adult, that passion grew into self-publishing books, ghostwriting, editing, and helping others tell their stories through memoir and testimony writing. I’ve also written my own story, which will be released in the near future.

My love of family history began at a family reunion when I was seventeen. Listening to my grandmother and her siblings talk about parents, grandparents, and years gone by made me realize that ordinary people carry extraordinary stories. It made me understand that legacy matters, and that every family has a history worth preserving.

Our Inspiration

Old photographs, handwritten letters, childhood memories, family recipes, stories shared around the dinner table, and the moments that shape a family deserve to be protected as much as possible. We are only here for a short time, but what we leave behind matters greatly. If we do not preserve those memories, many of them will eventually be lost.

I believe ordinary lives matter just as much as famous ones. I believe family stories deserve to be remembered. And I believe the people we love should not simply fade into forgotten boxes in closets and attics.

Through memoir writing, testimony writing, legacy projects, grave care services, family memory preservation, and creative storytelling, my goal is to help people hold onto the people and moments that matter most.
